• Licensed stock photography from iStock, and a few photographs from Unsplash, show general settings: a hotel front desk, a classroom, a dairy barn, a retail store, a prairie field, the Calgary skyline. They are never presented as North Star staff, customers or installations.
• Product and lifestyle photographs of Yealink handsets and Yeastar systems are supplied by Yealink and Yeastar under their partner programmes and remain their property. The offices and front desks in them were staged by those companies. They are not our customers’ buildings.
• Photographs of North Star’s people are our own, taken with their consent.
• No AI-generated illustrations are used on northstar.tel at present. If we add any, we’ll say so here, and we’ll keep the model, the full prompt, the seed and the date of each one on file.
• We don’t use stock photography to stand in for our own work, our people or our customers. Where we don’t have a real photograph of something, we leave the picture out.

The source and licence of every image is recorded in our attribution log.

We don’t quote uptime percentages. We don’t certify compliance: we test and document, and the authority having jurisdiction decides. We don’t name customers without their written consent.
