Dar has been with North Star Telecom from the beginning, helping build a company rooted in Western Canadian values since 2006. As Operating Partner, he spends his days thinking about how evolving communications technology can better serve local businesses - not just as companies, but as communities of friends, family, and faith. His favorite part of the job is having real conversations with business owners about growth and opportunity. Jobert Atabug
Jobert wears a lot of hats - handling everything from customer service and marketing to admin tasks, tech installs, and even keeping the office tidy. He takes pride in his reputation as the go-to team player. He stays motivated by meeting new people, helping customers, and always learning something new. With North Star since its launch, Jen is the numbers wizard who keeps everything running behind the scenes. From invoices to account management, spreadsheets are her specialty. Mark is your go-to guy when something’s not working. He spends his day answering questions, solving problems, and making sure our customers are never left in the lurch. His favorite part of the job is helping people stay connected with tools that actually work - and providing support that’s fast and reliable. Jackie is the hands-on problem solver you want on-site. He spends his days installing and configuring phone systems that just work - no drama, no downtime. Jackie loves the thrill of troubleshooting and fixing what others can’t. On weekends, you’ll find him hitting the gym and living his motto: “No pain, no gain!”
